Very cooperative and innovative staff. It is fun to collaborate with everyone abd work together. Latest in terms of technology.

Cons

Everything is very time bound. Flexibility is lacking. Need more space to work and concentrate. That would improve the productivity in a big manner.

Pros

When it was GE owned company, there were a lot of learning & development opportunties. Also, everyone else that was manager and below were working just as hard as you were- so you had a good team around you.

Cons

Lack of salary, opportunties of advancement were given to external GE employees and not to internal NBC employees, extremely high volume of work and lack of support

Pros

Its great to have NBCU on your resume. They have great benefits packages (especially pension if you stay long enough to get vested). There are also cool perks like being able to get close up to the concerts in the morning if you know the right people.

Cons

You tend to be a cog in the wheel here. Everyone-including VPs/SVPs-complains about having to work so much, yet the culture that they instigate themselves is work first, family second. Most people felt guilty taking an hour off in the morning to go to a doctor's appointment. It was also very hard to maintain a positive attitude with everyone complaining about the amount of work and criticizing coworkers behind their backs.
