Pros

- Reputable Name - Interesting business, not boring, nice atmosphere - Fast-paced learning environment - Will teach you (maybe the hard way if you aren't good at it) the large importance of interactions with people

Cons

- politics - in order to succeed you need to be liked (on a personal level) - sometimes slow - large company so you have to fight for things to do

Pros

Saying you work for NBC is a definite conversation starter. It's a world-wide known brand and helps to bolster your resume. There are many perks like give-aways and office sponsored lunches.

Cons

It's so large yet somehow seems to never have enough money in their budget to fully staff positions that your department needs to have manned in order to accomplish the goals you are tasked to do.

Pros

Great opportunity to develop in the media industry. Learn sales techniques in the distribution of informational content such as news and entertainment.

Cons

Multiple business groups make it difficult to identify project ownership. Poor transparency within the business. Leadership development programs being modified due to business re-org ie. GE/Comcast deal.
