Corporate America but you would expect more
Pros
Good place for 1st job recent college grads. Good benefits. Learn alot, the environment is okay. You have to beg for it but most people are willing to help you understand concepts. All work duties can be done remote, even though leadership doesnt like it.
Cons
No training, learn through trial and error, no support. Leadership is concerned with budget and not their people. Promotions are given based on favorites and not work ethic. You only hear from management when there is a problem. The even more problem is that no one knows the functions of their job, so when you ask questions get at least 3 -5 answers and go to upper leadership because you will get different answers. Pay can be better and raises are very minimal (1%). No work life balance but you do have slow times which is about 50 works pet week but most months are peek times at least 65 hours per week. Very political, people play mind games and try to run you over even in the beginning so you better learn fast. You would think that all the services we provide would allow you to move within the company to different departments and job functions but they dont, leadership blocks you moving moving to different subsidiaries in the company. So choose well. Personally I do not like the work I do, as an analyst its busy work no applying thoughts and drawing conclusions.
