- Alum based hiring - Lack of respect for individuals from outside the alum network - No room for healthy debate/discussion. Someone who has been with the company little longer than you have is always right! you don't question, just follow without voicing opinion - Reaching out to senior management not appreciated - Extremely hierarchical - Information asymmetry - Lack of accountability - not owning up to what said earlier - No clear growth path/career opportunities
