Pros

Some benefits are really good

Cons

Don’t pay as well as other firms although they say salaries are benchmarked Work life balance isn’t seen as important.

Pros

Exciting changes of an iconic historical organisation. Pleasant colleagues and varied work.

Cons

Benefits are not competitive compared to insurance companies. No car allowances and only 25 days annual leave (existing staff get 30) good pension contributions and life insurance and flexible working although technology is poor. You also need to provide your own personal mobile phone! The physical working environment is cold and austere - very male eg not enough ladies loos. It has a barbers but no hairdressers or beauty treatments
