      Pros

      State of the art product. Decent benefits.

      Cons

      Company lacks direction, cohesion and talent throughout. There are few opportunities for growth, no interest in mentoring and executives go out of there way to “cap” fast risers. Silos exist throughout the organization. There is little to no inter-department collaboration and department heads only manage to their own individual performance indicators related to their bonuses. Most everything you hear from upper management, beginning with the CEO who hides in his office all day, is lip service and disingenuous.

      Pros

      The team in the SOC were one of the most technical and capable teams I've had the pleasure of working with. The Bristol office still retains the feel of a smaller company, not like most defence companies who are too big to move.

      Cons

      Whatever problems anyone else has listed I'd say any issues were not unique to Leonardo and you can't please all the people all the time.

      Pros

      Laid back life for retirees 9-5 environment

      Cons

      1. Nepotism – Good luck on rising up the ladder amongst the sons and daughters of generals 2. Nationality bias – If you're Italian or British you have a chance of reaching mid-level management. Otherwise, forget about it! 3. No laid out career progression – your only chance of promotion is to pull a couple of strings 4. Terrible salaries – much below the industry average, which itself if below other industries
