If you're considering a role within the Data Analytics team at Lalamove, my advice would be to seriously reconsider. Senior management lacks a technical background and has no understanding of the core aspects of data analytics, including coding and technical processes. This lack of technical expertise leads to poor decision-making and a general mismanagement of the team. Moreover, management style is abrasive and unprofessional—People have tendency to publicly humiliate employees without cause, fostering a toxic work environment. His temper and inconsistency in leadership create a high-stress atmosphere that discourages collaboration and personal growth. Overall, the combination of poor technical understanding and toxic leadership makes this team an unhealthy place to work. I would strongly advise against accepting an offer to join this department.

1. The team is full of politics, factionalism, and decisions based on personal interests rather than the company's best interests. 2. As a BI domain, managers do not value technical skillsets and mindsets as much as business acumen. The manager frequently convey the message that tech personnel are already replaceable by AI, which is absurd given that the manager lack the necessary technical skills and experience in data. 3. Part of the workforce in the team do not deliver any meaningful work without facing any consequences. The only priority seems to be pleasing the managers and keeping their ego, rather than delivering quality results.
