Pros

There are really no pros to this company except paid sick days. Maybe 20% of gas s perk.( NYX offers 50% and they are almost the same price point)

Cons

Unlike other cosmetics lines they do not offer gratis which is usually a standard especially if they want you to know the product. They also do not offer any training at all. So if you are a new manager coming into the business you completely out of luck you will receive no product training at all. The management turnover alone in this company is very high. They will Cheat you out of what your suppose to be paid even as an experienced store manager. There are even store managers that are making less than 35k a year. What's even more weird is this is the only company that you are NOT allowed to use any alcohol at all the clean the product for clients to try it in the store, if you do it's almost grounds for termination of its seen in the store. The company is very sneaky if they want you out they will find the most weirdest way to get you out especially if your making to much money. They don't believe in marketing. They want your team to market for them by word of mouth. If you think your going to be hired as a store manager and run your own store your not your going to be a glorified sales associate that's micro managed by upper management who only contacts you via text message and emails only. They will force the sale sale sale system down your throat even though you have no training at all. Your will never receive a weekend off Friday Saturday's and most Sunday's you have to work no matter what. Monday's are a must even if you have a trying asst or key overall not really the best company to work for just food for thought before you apply.

Hello Former SM, I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Since your review was posted, we have taken steps to address some of the issues you mentioned. We are currently in the process of revisiting the hygiene standards in our stores. Obviously, we take the health of our customers and employees very seriously. We also have decreased the work load on our Area Managers. This ensures that they are able to better support the stores they manage. Email and text message certainly are convenient, but aren’t the same as one on one face time from a mentor. KIKO USA HR

Pros

Some products are actually great ..& price points are as well .. good to build your makeup kit. There were a few trainers and managers that were supportive and actually cared .. few as in 1 or 2 .

Cons

They have you work your butt off blood sweat and tears sometimes shifts longer than usual .. no recognition for your hard work ... always pointing out the wrong ... making promises to move up and never really happens.. all they care about is $ not their employees ... NO proper training for employees just through them in to the fire and whoever survives stays and whoever doesn't will get fired ! Upper manager is a joke period.

Kiko Milano USA recently went through an upper management change. We will continue to work hard to ensure that our corporate & field teams are trained and hold them accountable to follow proper Kiko procedure. We have also implemented a new training dept in order to ensure stores feel supported.

Pros

Cheap makeup, able to participate in customer promos, random contest with nice cash prizes

Cons

Employee discount wasn't worth it, absolutely no training, expected to lie to customers just to sell, below average pay wages, poor corp office management, non-supportive CFO and Director, lacking planning and execution

Kiko now has a very enticing discount program for its employees! Our prices are already considerably less than other brands, but we have still increased our discount rate to benefit our employees.
