      Pros

      Johnson Controls employs over 140,000 employees and therefore highly regards its employees as its most vital resource, however, being a large organization, it takes significant effort to effect change and impact the organization.

      Cons

      The Building Efficiency side of the business is slow to react to changing market. Ingenuity Welcome tagline is not emphasized in recruiting, but recognized when appropriate.

      Pros

      Great coworkers. Benefits and holidays. If you like working long hours (50) and don't get expected to be paid. Johnson Controls Largo is it.

      Cons

      Mad house to work in. Very Chaotic. No family life. You are expected to work 50 hours or plus hours.

      good pay good professional resources/colleagues good re-investment of profits into growing the company good ethics

      Cons

      most projects are the same - interest/challenge tends to drop as time goes on not a drawing production house company farms too much professional consulting out - i.e. this position is a paper pusher too many mouse clicks to do the most simple things within the company People with HVAC design background moving into the energy side will feel that is a step down although those individuals are the perfect fit to do the energy side properly.
