Pros

I worked for Informatica more than a decade, Informatica had built a culture where you have Smart and humble engineers, and it was great to work with each other. Get to work on latest technologies and learn a lot. Engineers took ownership and were accountable for their work. Though things have changed now with some people without people management skills are leading, still foundations built over long time and executive leadership intent to preserve the culture is there, things aren't perished completely yet, so if you are lucky and you get to work with some good teams and under some good managers you may still have a positive experience.

Cons

Engineering mid level leadership of cloud team is horrible. Treating engineers like slaves mentality, more than open and collaborative nature, it's more a hierarchy work culture. Doesn't think long term and build efficient teams. What is rewarded is you just be a yes man, work more than 12 ours a day including weekends, don't ask questions.

Pros

Used to have a lot of pros. Team lunches, employee engagement.

Cons

Senior Management left the company. New management has a lot of inexperienced people. 10-12 year experience have become directors and 6-7 year experience people are managers. They don't really know how to manage team and can't see beyond their friend circle. My manager doesn't read mails or attends meeting. Same culture has been spread to whole team.

HR very questionable

Pros

At one time was somewhat responsive even though it was always remote and not on site resources, for HR, not good

Cons

Any managers working at any other mature high tech company seems to be more on top of HR issues, policies and processes than the HR at Informatica. Its unfortunate.
