      Software Engineering at Cloud BU

      Pros

      New management in Cloud team is very fair and each individual is very well recognized and rewarded for his/her work. New management is very knowledgeable in Software processes and always strives for new innovative ideas and concepts. The Cloud team is motivated under the guidance of management and Organization has great direction in alignment with company goals. I see myself working here for a long time and will definitely recommend this company and the Cloud Organization in particular for others.

      Cons

      Being honest, I don't see any downside here.

      Pros

      You can achieve a good work-life balance working at Informatica. Most managers are flexible with schedules. The technology is exciting, and there is never lack for learning new things.

      Cons

      We lost some culture with the mass exodus of upper management in the last couple of years. I'm not certain that the new senior management is as dedicated to its employees like the previous management was. We lost ESPP when we went private, and that benefit has not been replaced.

      Thank you for your review and your comments. While there has been some change in our executive team, one could hardly characterize it as a "mass exodus." It is not uncommon for people to re-examine their careers when a company goes through significant changes as we did in 2015. Some elected to leave in order to pursue new directions or retire. Suffice it to say that the team we have now is exceptional in its level of expertise and accomplishment. As for the ESPP, a special, supplemental bonus program to largely replace it was announced at our most recent quarterly All-Hands meeting in February.       IPS IDC Great place to learn and grow

      Pros

      Good projects ..great products Great exposure to grow in Consulting Entire IPS team works in collaboration , you can easily get help, specially IDC you can reach out to anyone. In short ..career wise there are lot of learning's Flexibility wise environment is mature ..no micromanagement ..work from home etc. Managers/Directors are very approachable for any queries/concerns and make sure they address them and communicate the status regularly if it takes time ..this is very rare to find anywhere else.
