Pros

Great benefits and OT! But you aren't appreciated enough for the work that you do (if you are a great employee). Great opportunity to move into a lead position but that's it!

Cons

Bad raises...2% over all. Don't matter if you do a better job then the person sitting next to you. No appreciation towards the employees-management tries; but moral remains low. No advancement to supervisor/manager position unless you are favored!

hard to break the glass ceiling, very much a hard hand after the change in executive management, tends to act like the bully on the playground

Pros

Hunter Douglas offers great opportunities to learn about the manufacturing industry, and its commercial side. Here, you will be working with people who are well-versed in the industry. The company could really help you establish a great impression and understanding of the manufacturing business, and immerse you to various business functions that might be able to help your future career. In terms of compensation, you could get a decent start-up salary. The company is also supportive in terms of career development, so they give you a chance to enroll in various job training and certifications. They are also generous in giving allowances, in case you need to do customer visits and management presentations outside the office.

Cons

Office politics is somehow strong. There are cases that business decisions are affected by the personal interest of the senior management. This also affects career growth negatively, as regards to promotion and salary increase. Most decisions are made subjectively, more than performance-based or goal-driven.
