Pros

Free cruises yearly, Paid Vaca, work from home

Cons

You may not get paid on time and don't expect them to tell you in advance. You may not get paid at all, it's up to you to catch their mistakes. Supervisors don't know much more than you, need to break chain of command to get results. They set rules but don't want to follow them.

Pros

Work from home, reward cruise after 1 year

Cons

The HAL web site is down all the time so irate "guests" and travel agents calling in all the time to complain. Constant phone calls with unfriendly and stuck-up travel agents. Very little commission ($1 per booking if deposit made). Minimum wage, long hours on phone with very restrictive lunch and break time. Micro-mgmt. from supervisors. Lots of information given during interview and training as far as potential for moving to another dept after one year but that doesn't happen. Also, so-called employee free cruise after 1 year but if your cabin is needed on the ship, you get bumped for paying guests.

Pros

4/10 work schedule option, you have every other Friday off. Discount on cruises Cafeteria staff is nice and the food is good.

Cons

Management is unwilling to change and accept feedback by employees Departments are unwilling to work together for the same goal/project Business professional attire Work environment is very old and stale No room for growth Unfriendly co-workers, most start as a customer service rep and wait years to move. If someone comes in from the outside, you're look upon has an "outsider". HR is not helpful or knowledgeable in explaining health benefits
