Pros

Personal and professional development. Upward mobility if interested in investing the time and effort. Good recognition of development and initiative.

Cons

Long hours and sometimes stressful job requirements. Timing for promotions is often slow as the company has high seniority. This can cause negative aspirations.

Pros

There is fairly consistent turnover at Hertz in the middle management roles so promotions are a distinct possibility for strong performers. The promotion process is open and fair- all candidates go through the same kind of screening. The Hertz brand is incredibly strong in the Corporate arena which makes it an easier pitch to travel managers looking for corporate programs. Training was offered both in person and on line for a variety of subjects for all employees to take advantage of. Benefits were good- 3 weeks vacation at year 5.

Cons

Being a global company, it is sometimes difficult to get consistency across every rental location which can lead to service issues. The communication between brands (Hertz rental, Hertz Equipment) was not strong.
