Pros

Good benefits, decent pay, delicious cafeteria food. Flexible work hours for some (a few bad managers are clock watchers and heavily monitor their employees comings and goings).

Cons

No opportunities for training, development, or career growth. All opportunities are in Dusseldorf, Germany. Ridiculous Forced Ranking practice for annual reviews - yes, that practice you studied in Grad School that everyone learned is a terrible idea.

Pros

If your dream career path is in Marketing, particularly managing national and global brands then Henkel is one of the best starting points you can find. The level of experience you can gain here is amazing. Also, they have a suite in the Phoenix Arena, where you can get tickets to concerts and sporting events.

Cons

Be prepared for many 12-15 hour days working on tasks that have no value add to your business. This is a German company, and they have frequent requests for internal information which takes away from your ability to work on what you need to do to improve your brands position. Also, while there is office politics in every business that you go to, this place is pretty bad. Promotions and other opportunities are provided to those that play the political games, more than your performance on improving your brands top line or bottom line outcome.
