Variety of positions, good for someone young.

Cons

Not allowed to shop at the store that you work at. Will not accept a doctors note for a valid absence.

Pros

Very great benefits. Its easy to move up in management.

Cons

Donations coming in can get extremely gross. Space is small for all the product coming in. As a backdoor person you should get paid more than other positions because it is a very physical job from unloading/loading trucks, moving furniture, etc. Not very flexible with hours

Pros

One of the few things I liked about working at Goodwill was getting paid weekly. I also met some very sweet people there that still to this day are close friends.

Cons

They pay almost minimum wage, you may get health benefits but with the pay you get you can't even afford to pay the co payment to see a doctor or dentist. The store I worked at which was on Rainbow cheated customers by doubling the prices on red tag days so you would pay what they really wanted for items.
