Meeting other people in the industry, early looks at equipment.

Cons

Minimal advancement opportunities, pay was not that great. Payroll cuts forced short staffing and didn't allow for training of associates.

Great team around you that share the same interests as you. Get to work with all the new technology in the golf industry.

Cons

Have to work in retail which isn't the best. The ability to move up in the company may not be the best as well.

Very nice management and staff, not overwhelmed during your shift, get to talk about golf all the time. Very well organized.

Cons

Most of the part time employees are limited to 13-15 hours a week, excluding holiday season which is more, no commission on sales, usually working closing shifts to start. Huge store and a lot of merchandise which they expect you to know and be able to sell which can be difficult. Unless you are true golf equipment of course. Shifts are usually 4-5 hours. Being on the feet on the hard surface all day can be hard. Left job mostly because of the lack of hours. You get the schedule on friday night for the upcoming week, which can be difficult to work with if you got a second job. Busiest during the holiday season, which sucks to work on holidays.
