      Good benefits/salary - low moral and counter productive culture

      Pros

      Pretty good benefits and salary.

      Cons

      They view people and their talents as commodities. Upper management is more concerned with the bottom line than with quality. They continue to attempt to outsource as much as possible with no regard to the quality of the IT product. They are easily sold on flashy powerpoint presentations from outsourcing vendors and don't take into account the difficulties in implementation and the impact on the end users.

      Good place to work with commensurate salary. Professional development opportunities with self directed career path. Resource allocations in line with industry.

      Cons

      Pharmaceutical industry, sales in parituclar, trending in a very negative direction due to external industry pressures. Industry continues to be a political scape goat for too many of the failures of healthcare.
