- If your manager is supportive, then the opportunities across the company are huge. - Lots of training available. - Great salary and bonus/incentive scheme. - Excellent, cheap housing for Pilbara employees. - Very flexible work place.

Cons

- An unsupportive manager will stunt your career and opportunities. - Nepotism and the purple circle still very much in existence. - A lot of lip service about equal opportunity, bullying, diversity and discrimination but the reality is quite different. - Different standards for indigenous and non-indigenous employees.

- Company values are well utilised in everyday tasks. - Everyone does their best to take care of one another and are always friendly. - Good reporting on any injuries, incidents, etc without being made to feel embarrassed or belittled by management. - Feedback is always taken into consideration when looking to make improvements within teams. - Due to many sites there are always opportunities within your field to help further your development.

Cons

- Can feel very undervalued at times, especially when being asked to take on a larger workload than your normal role without being paid in a way that reflects the work and responsibility placed on you. - Favouritism with personnel at times plays a large role in terms of career progression. - In addition to favouritism, management does not hold personnel accountable in the same way as others as it is clear that said personnel are a reflection of said management and do not want to hold themselves accountable.
