Pros

It's a fun place. Great for experience in a fast paced environment as a manager. Since you don't need and management experience to be an ASM it really helps you learn the basic principals of management. It's really not hard to get hired. All you need is good availability and good interviewing skills. The dress code is pretty easy to follow. You also get a performance evaluation every 6 months. Which in turn means you get a raise every six months. With most companies though, it's all about the people you with or for. Forever 21 is a nice place to work as long as you have a fun hard working staff.

Cons

They start your salary off low because they give a raise every 6 months. Disciplinary action isn't always taken where it should be. The discount isn't that great because once you buy something you can't return it. It's final sale, period. And only the store manager can ring you up and she's not always there. When you're a manager it's nearly impossible to fire someone and you have to give them at least 4 hours a week otherwise it prompts you to separate them. The return policy is not very customer friendly because we only give store credit or exchange. So trying to work with customers with that policy makes it fairly difficult to appease people, especially when they're SCREAMING at you.

Pros

If you're young and like to be in a busy store it can be more fun than other jobs. It may also be very convenient for you depending on your schedule and location.

Cons

low pay and can be loads of work. Your experience will be all about what days and shifts you work, and your location. Some locations are always packed, overcrowded, and really are in need of being remodeled to be much larger. But even at that, some of the larger locations are packed on weekends, holidays, or special sales events. So you will either be really bored or really busy. If you're a hard worker you will be irritated when you see "cliques" getting away with pretending to do work but they are actually just standing around.
