Creative flexibility with visual merchandising. You're allowed to do it your own way as long as you follow the basics. You're only given a theme and a mood board and some suggested colour palettes but you adjust to your store's given merchandise. My store has a great team. I get steady hours 7am-4pm monday - friday.

Poorly made merchandise can sometimes be hard to work with Everything is a crop top A seemingly cheap CEO influence Sometimes weird demands are made to merchandise sales even though your store managed to visualize in a different way that maximized profits

Make a lot of friends/ further references If you can handle forever21 you can handle anything. You learn so many interpersonal skills Like handle difficult customers or when it’s mayhem and how to troubleshoot and you learn time management is #1. Teamwork and communication from cashiers to stock to individuals on the sales floor to assistant managers to managers. You have to take charge, don’t lose your cool, Customers will try to get the best of you but that’s what I’ve learned, that killing them with kindness is. It enchanted many of my skillls such as inventory/ placement/communication/customer service/management/ you make long time friends sometimes your best friends here

Cons

Hours can be cut in an in instant Outsiders come in get paid more than you when trying to get the next advancement Be ready to walk non stop every corner you turn there is something to do, someone to help while all at the same time trying to keep your insanity with the customers who are quite outrageous. But if you stick it with it and your actions speak louder than words so you have to establish a persona BC if you are a lone wolf they will sometimes forget about you. Hey
