Pros

Staff discount. That is it. (Not enough pros to even fill out the required 5 words)

Cons

Just about everything. Pay is purposely at the bottom of local economics, because staff are always replaceable, why should they care if people leave? Great staff are paid the same as bad staff. Training and development is a joke, because staff are always replaceable, why should they care if people leave? They know not to waste time training because nobody lasts. Professionalism and growth/performance expectations are held to rock bottom standards, because staff are always replaceable, why should they care if people leave? Being good at your job, is not a strategy here. Only the bad employees stick around, and the good ones are very happy to leave. It's no wonder why the management promotion system favors diversity over proficiency, all the brains have left the building, so they promote literally the only person who hasn't quit. Good luck dodging the quiet discrimination, stick around and make friends in other regions and stores, people talk. One store tried to unionize, you might wonder what system of working conditions drove them to that? But corporate brought in a union busting team to quietly squish that effort. Don't let anyone fool you with a fake sense of altruism to help people in the community, if they can squeeze one more percent of profit out by laying off your best 2 employees, they will happily sacrifice positive customer experiences and trained staff to save an extra few hundred dollars a month. Avoid this company for at least the next 5 years.

Pros

Some of their benefits are decent

Cons

Fleet Feet practices age discrimination. Also homophobic and transphobic comments are made frequently in the workplace, as are anti-Semitic, racist, and misogynistic comments. This was all commonplace where I worked.

Pros

The people - namely the entry level folks I got to work with who were in it because they like running and running community. Sadly this is pretty much where the "pros" stop.

Cons

Though some good folks, sadly some truly toxic disingenuous personalities in leadership roles. Instances of bullying and ethics complaints which were brought to light by colleagues and escalated to hr/management were never addressed (numerous). Asked to perform dangerous tasks on multiple occasions which were well outside of job duties. Victim of and witness to verbal abuse/beratement on several occasions. Management/CEO appear woefully disconnected with the nuts and bolts of this company, probably by choice. Pay: awful.
