Pros

Lots of verticals - banking, payments, card services, healthcare etc, seemingly possible opportunities. Work life balance is better for most people. Understands the transformation required to get to the next level.

Cons

Too many silos. Difficult to actually move across divisions. Too many old timers that makes it impossible for young people to advance or get their voice heard. Inner circle is tough to crack.

Pros

Trying to gain efficiencies in the marketplace by changing operational structure from a holding company to that of a single organization.

Cons

Changes mentioned with Fiserv 2.0 above have been clumsy as execs figure out how to operate as a single entity. Essentially growing pains. Hope they figure it out soon, because fun is not being had by any. Benefits blow, and have been scaled back each year for approximately the past 5 years Record profits yet not raises or bonuses for 2 years, Hmmm...

Pros

They worked around my school schedule, and would allow you to just not show up (in the event of an emergency), never firing anyone or even mentioning the incident. I see this as a con as well, because it keeps people around that perpetually 'drop the ball.'

Cons

Very low pay for the job, poorly run operations, very unprofessional coworkers who were offensive and plainly rude about peoples backgrounds and beliefs, there were no bonuses or raises given, they did not cross train you and when one person didn't show up- the whole office fell apart, all jobs were run extremely inefficiently and there seemed to be nothing done about it the whole time I was there.
