Pros

Colleagues and pay and bonus. If you just follow the masses and not care if your work or you make a difference and you don't mind junior high politics within their VP, directors and executives and also is you ate a white male than this is the place for you

Cons

No true leadership in executive suite. Executives are successful if they say the right things and appear to be doing something, yet delegate to others with no plan and will have them do things and then not implement. Scarcity in their staffing. Very unexperienced HR dept. HR is a mess. Sales force people are very nice but the leaders son't lead and improve. Lack selling skills and training. Many VPs are immature and act on emotions.

Pros

Above average benefits and 401k matching. Stock purchase program. Products meet customer expectations but are expensive compared to competition. Very little reason to work for this company anymore, the golden years are over.

Cons

Essilor has been overrun by poor leadership and executive's children that now manage through fear and threats. No critical feedback is allowed, the new saying here is 'you're either on the bus or under the bus." HR is no longer human or a resource, they're just a department used to fire people. All the veterans who helped build the company to where it is today have been ushered out the door to make way for the new militaristic management.
