No clear job description for the marketing officer. As a result, being the only one out of two marketing officers for the entire indonesia region, I worked long hours and consistently given additional job on and on.

Not bad, for a first time teaching job.

Pros

Teaching English with EF is not a bad idea as a first time TEFL position, and it can provide an opportunity fro anyone with a full TEFL certificate to work overseas.

Cons

This position expects a lot of its teachers for a very low salary (not enough for comfortable living in a city like Shanghai, where I worked for a year). Although the company may be able to give limited assistance to staff who want to focus strongly on professional development, opportunities for advancement within the company are limited.
