Pros

My work at Encompass was very mission-driven. The needs of the clients were made clear, the impact my individual role had was clearly delineated. As a result, I take great pride in my work. The atmosphere is genial, the human resources department - particularly Sally - is incredibly helpful.

Cons

Sometimes there is not enough communication between upper management and clients, due to fear of rocking the boat. It can lead to some stressful situations.

Free lunch (but only a 20 minute lunch. It was recently shortened from 30 minutes)

Cons

Out of a multitude of knowledgeable employees, they choose not to promote anyone and instead hire people with no experience in the industry AND no management experience. There is a very negative culture. There is a lot of turnover. There are a lot of prejudices. My advice to workers there currently is keep track of every email and get everything in writing.

The people there were great. Everyone worked as a team and collaborated really well, and it made an overall great and encouraging environment. Great food also!

Cons

None whatsoever! The environment was great and the work was challenging but doable.
