If you are not Chinese, then the company does not invest in your knowledge-base or welfare. No salary review. Chinese very secretive and hide most company info and strategy from the local employees. Very corrupt, always want to bribe the customer to get the upper hand over competitors. Flagrant violations of host country labor expatriate quota laws and immigration laws. Wasteful in OPEX, especially in admin. No training for local staff, except on rare ocassions for a few select. Routine cases of financial fraud perpetuated by Chinese staff especially in the retirement of marketing fee and operational expenses. Chinese staff convert the money to USD and ship back to China illegaly. Most Chinese project implementation staff have no project experience.
