Pros

Benefits, opportunity for advancement, and growing.

Cons

Where do I begin? I truly believe the company lost its heart and soul when the former VP left a couple years ago. The culture has completely shifted. It used to be people focused and now it’s like the company has completely devolved back into the 90’s. The women who are at the very top of the company are so disingenuous during interactions. It’s so clear they are fake and don’t care about you. It’s not just me, everyone has noticed the show downturn over the past couple years and it got to the point where it was just unbearable. I used to feel “seen” and appreciated and now I’m just waiting for another mandate that is going to make mine and my teams morale and life worse. Are you that blind or do you truly not care about your people? A once great company is now being led by mean girls and I’m ready to throw in the towel.

Pros

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any pros based on my experience.

Cons

Village Green is easily the worst company I have ever worked for. The organization operates in complete chaos with deeply unethical leadership, zero accountability, and an absolutely toxic culture from the top down. Employees are treated as disposable, constantly misled, overworked, and blamed for failures created by incompetent management. Fear, favoritism, retaliation, and dishonesty were normalized daily. The company showed a shocking disregard for professionalism, employee wellbeing, operational standards, and resident trust. Turnover was extreme for a reason — competent employees do not stay. Leadership consistently protected themselves instead of fixing serious issues, and the environment became mentally draining and impossible to thrive in. I would strongly discourage anyone from working here or trusting this company with their career. In my experience, this organization should not be managing people, properties, or teams at the scale it does.
