Pros

The product itself is effective and solve ‘s an ever growing business problem, however many organizations have spent money on addressing this unstructured data problem in the last 2-3 years. The support team is professional in supporting their clients and offering assistance when needed.

Cons

They’re many Con’s to list here. But I’ll name my top four for those contemplating the possibility of working here. 1.The great sales rep and sales engineers that Varonis once had, all bailed around two years ago., after the IPO. The company has been struggling with it’s internal corporate culture since then. 2. Varonis has a very outdated, rudimentary CRM system, that keeps sales reps in the field from effectively doing their jobs. 3. Infective VP’s of Sales, these suppose Managers lack basic integrity, they want to maintain the status quo, will squash any rising star that brings an outside perspective an ideas on how to grow the business. Finally, the reason I’m leaving is, I can no longer take the frat-boy sexism culture that exist within the ranks of Management. It’s simply not a healthy place to call home in this day in age.

Pros

Benefits are great, random gifts throughout the year, top notch team support

Cons

Company is so compartmentalized no one team has any idea of what is going on with another, which is specifically frustrating when it comes to pay/commission. They keep purchasing other companies without properly integrating into the existing product and have to basically re-invent how to use the full potential of said product to interact with what they already have, leaving a lot to be desired. Hiring new positions with specific goals in mind, but have the same title so are treated the same when it comes to OTE creating a substantial pay cut. Especially when they are brought in to make certain parts of the team and product better.
