Pros

Helping people in need can be very rewarding. Company vehicle is nice. Company also cares about the envirnoment and it's customers.

Cons

Get ready to work 11-12 hour days, deal with nothing but headaches and problems, work Saturdays & get phone calls and emails all day long. Turnover is atrocious in all departments company wide. There is a long-running custom to check the company phone list which comes out monthly to see who is no longer working for the company. Many many termite customers were sold improper treatment and are forced to deal with an ever-lasting termite issue requiring constant ineffective liquid re-treatments when they should have been sold a fumigation. After years of frustration you will be forced to deal with the issue, and of course the person who sold it is no longer with the company because the turnover is so bad. There are tons of antiquated processes and equipment. Technician handheld computers constantly go down, the office computer program is 10 years behind today's capabilities, extremely slow and always going down. Vehicles/equipment are also constantly breaking down. Agreements are very confusing for customers and a constant issue. The company decides to change pay and pay structure every year and constantly changing customer pricing as well. The company is always changing direction with what they deem important. There is a flavor of the month or quarter and it will be the most important thing to focus on until the next thing comes along, then you won't even hear about what was important last month. Nothing is planned out in advance, its always last minute and fly by the seat of your pants mentality. District-wide meetings are planned 2 days in advance when all salespeople have set appointments with customers and all technicians are routed for the day. Rescheduling all appointments for the branch is a very unnecessary task and could be completely avoided with just a little planning. New services and agreements are rolled out prematurely and cause lots of complications. The company tries to implement new systems but they only further complicate an already dysfunctional environment. Updating simple bugs and issues on the website take forever to fix. Workload is unrealistic, every position is stretched out way too thin and everything suffers as a result. Most managers can't even devote the proper time to train new employees because the constant stream of interruptions and problems that arise daily. My recommendation is not to apply to any company in the industry unless you have experience and you know what you are getting yourself into. It will be a rude awakening.

Education , they invest so much into their employees. You are constantly learning and always room to grow! Management is great and it’s still run by the family.

Cons

I have no cons to talk about. They treated me great. I moved out of the country or else I would still be working there

Pros

Great culture — they truly get behind you when it comes to developing both yourself and your team. There’s a strong focus on leadership and on being a leader in their field. If you are self‑driven and have a strong moral compass, you will thrive at Truly Nolen alongside like‑minded people.

Cons

Compensation is not highly competitive, though the company does invest in development. Stronger leadership and quicker action are needed to prevent toxic behavior from impacting teams.
