Pros

Nice colleagues at peer level. Brand name looks good on a CV.

Cons

Toxic management culture and extremely poor leadership. This is a brand-new department, yet every person I joined with left shortly after training — that alone should be a serious red flag. High turnover is treated as normal instead of being addressed. There is a constant “walking on eggshells” atmosphere. Staff are expected to work beyond contracted hours, and if you log off at your actual finish time (17:30), it’s met with passive aggression or emotional outbursts. People regularly cry in the toilets. This is not a healthy or professional environment. Training is superficial. Once it ends, you are thrown into the deep end with no real support — only pressure, micro management and Accountability is avoided at management level, while workload continues to increase. Management prioritises control and performative activities over actual leadership. Instead of fixing systemic issues, experienced and capable staff leave. Morale is visibly low — most people look stressed, afraid and unhappy.

Pros

Pay is competitive. You get a free cruise.

Cons

The culture here was ok, though not the best. Now with a VERY strict 9-5 policy, the entire company is feeling the grip of the execs. No exceptions for anyone who has a doctors appointment or needs to pick up a kid or adjust their hours slightly to get through life. Many employees have to work extra hours, travel across the world, and work based on other time zones due to projects spanning across the world. No matter, 9-5 or pack your things. Execs are demanding more control, they seem to forget that they placed their office all the way in the traffic zoo of the Port of Miami. No one is happy and now you can hardly get out of the port at a decent time. Would have loved to see some execs and vps fight against this but it seems they only care about protecting themselves, and Mr Liberty is having his way. I hope he enjoys this act of control as it is making his employees miserable. Expect high turn over soon or layoffs, or both. Many of the small benefits have been rolled back without any announcement (food discounts, commuter discounts) without any notice. We have lost the plot, we are selling vacations, not saving lives.
