Pros

Learning the industry and getting the training you need to move on. Use this place as a stepping stone to better companies that pay better and will respect employees.

Cons

The metrics created and timelines given are simply unrealistic. The new LEAP initiative has created intense issues that have clogged employee's abilities to actually do the work they are given. Program interfaces dont work. The guidelines are not drilled down and specific enough to do the job. More emphasis on naming conventions than doing the actual job. Data entry duplication is intense. Management is out of touch with employees and the timelines are excessively unrealistic. I find its sad to see so many good employees leave as a result of the incompetence of others. Backstabbing and bitterness runs rampant and is fueled by the poor morale. People are only staying as the jobs market is poor at the moment. Turnover is high. Great work ethics and high performance is not rewarded.

Pros

A few nice people. That's it.

Cons

"With Heart" is a joke. This company does not care about its employees. Those that have been there for a number of years seem to be brainwashed into thinking this culture is normal and that this company cares about them. Parexel likes to make employees feel like they are just lucky to be there. Senior Leadership lacks management and people skills and are quick to throw employees under the bus to protect themselves. Probably because for many of them this is the only company they've ever worked for. This accounts for the high school clique-like culture. The workload is ridiculous for the pay and expectations are constantly shifting. The only thing Parexel cares about is money. The company is overloaded with ridiculous metrics. It's practically all you will have time to do. The most miserable place I've ever worked.
