Not as good as everyone thinks! - Store Host Mecca Brands Employee Review

No work life balance- if you work at Mecca they expect it to be your LIFE. Working overtime with no pay. Casuals must apply for "leave" if they want any time off (even just 1 day) months in advance and even then it will probably not be approved. No flexibility. Lack of training since the business has grown so much. Back to back makeup appointments given to store hosts and not fairly delegated amongst team- Lack of qualified makeup artists. Completely out of touch higher management/head office (support centre)
