Pros
Nice premises especially at the Foz school Overall, the secretaries are very kind and diligent
Cons
The Leça school, which consists of an ancient house, is falling to pieces. The projectors seldom work properly let alone the laptops when it is needed They pay peanuts for the hourly rate especially considering that the teachers have to pay their own transport The school neither offers a contract nor a reasonable number or groups Lack of a genuine continuing professional development. They basically gather in January at one of the IH schools based in Portugal on just one day, and in monthly meetings in which the attendance is not mandatory That is a typical school without any kind of real camaraderie as the teachers barely see each other or interact among themselves. The fellow teachers do not have any kind of social events throughout the year
