Pros
Hunter Douglas is a good company, even though it is a huge organization it feels like a small family business, especially at the Corporate office. There are a lot of really good people there and you can have fun at times. They have bi-weekly delicious lunches and “fun events” where everyone can socialize and step away from work for an hour. The pay is really good for the geographic location and you get a yearly Bonus that is 10% or more of your salary. There are many departments sitting at our office so it is very helpful. HR is really great and their benefits team sits onsite so any questions you have you can get them answered right away instead of waiting on the phone for an hour with an external vendor. If you need a form or policy you can walk downstairs and ask instead of waiting for someone to answer an email for a month. They are very prompt and helpful in all of the experiences I have had. There is also office service employees and an IT help desk onsite that are always willing to help, no matter how big or small the issue is. They are some very great people....with lots of patience!
Cons
I agree with the review earlier, there is some favoritism within departments and people notice and get bothered by it. Depending on your manager you can come in whenever time and leave whenever you want, it should be consistent within all of the departments. Sometimes I think that senior leadership and HR do not know what is going on...or they just turn a blind eye to it.
