Pros
I'm struggling to find pros. If you like working for a huge entity, siloed in your own department, being disrespected by your leadership, this is the place for you. I think GE HealthCare was a fine place to work pre-pandemic. But out of touch leadership and outdated beliefs of what work should look like have killed any semblance of good culture.
Cons
Beware the good reviews here. Adding a review on Glassdoor is an onboarding task for your first week of work. There is absolutely no accountability that "People Leaders" are good at managing people. If you're unlucky, you can get stuck with management that is impatient, condescending, communicates poorly, and has a severe lack of direction. I have not felt valued at this company, despite taking plenty of recorded courses that preach about DE&I, psychological safety, and treating others with respect. Senior leadership forces people back into office then offers absolutely no incentive to return to office except for the "culture" which is severely lacking. Forcing people back into the office won't build culture. People want to feel valued.
