After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal.
Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.

Zero work life balance, executive leadership extremely disconnected from reality, layoff of people with institutional knowledge leaving remaining people without many options. Some teams are so thin, delivery is difficult and customers cannot be satisfied.
