Pros

* excellent benefit package - 3 weeks of vacation in first year, good Health insurance * Opportunities to travel abroad to experience the tours being sold * Learn to work on a team * Good first job

Cons

* Starting pay makes is well below Boston's median prices, and makes it difficult (if not impossible) to live alone. * Unless you are a particular nationality, there is no ability to move into a high level management position * Long hours with very little rewards to hard work * HR staff is hired internally and then moved into other departments once they no longer want to work in HR

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
