Pros
Worked here for half a year in 2014 -Relative freedom to do your work -International environment (if you are a foreigner who doesn't want to fit in to the Czech Republic, as is the case for almost all of them, you'll be right at home here)
Cons
-Boring number-oriented work. For accountants and people who enjoy work of that nature. If you're a blow-in, it will likely not be for you. -Company has meeting syndrome. Meetings for everything. Meetings about having meetings. Issues that could simply be resolved by one person going over to another's desk are instead resolved in 'official' meetings despite not being of a private nature at all. -International environment (if you are a foreigner who actually DOES want to fit in to the Czech Republic. ) You will not be judged on an individual basis but instead on the attitudes of other foreigners which may not match your own. You will be treated as you are 'supposed' to be treated, not how you actually WANT to be treated, in spite of all the HR guff about same. Forget about trying to speak any Czech to local colleagues, even at lunch/break times. They're only interested in using you for English. -Very cliquey workplace. New people are not welcome (bar an initial forced handshake) if they don't conform to the exact behavioural standards expected (see previous point) -HR unhelpful and elusive when actual problems are to be solved (I was robbed of accumulated benefits upon leaving having made the honest mistake of forgetting to sort it out beforehand. Nobody contacted me about it but if I had forgotten to return a company laptop, for example, you can be sure I'd have heard about it straight away!)
