Pros
The culture is great. I really enjoy the people I work with. There is a fun & laughter day we get each year, which is pretty nice ;) We need to do more company outings.
Cons
There is a lot of division amongst the separate departments. It’s hard to gather information if you’re in the other “tribe”. Management is lacking in most areas. I feel unsupported in my position. I’m always getting the brunt of our attitude and negligence, as a company, from our customers. There’s only so much apologizing I can do on the behalf of our company. We need stronger leadership. The path towards future development & promotions is a joke. I had applied to a different position, THROUGH OUR COMPANY WEBSITE, and was given a standard, generic reply TO MY CONVERGINT EMAIL ADDRESS. It came directly from a member of our management team... 🤨 I never went through an interview process. Instead, they hired from the outside. Convergint needs to concentrate on maintaining their current customer base. There are way too many instances where customers are forgotten about. Too often there are open work orders that take 4+ weeks to return. I’ve been told dozens of times that some of our key customers are looking elsewhere.
