Cielo Response
7yHi, this is Sue Marks. First, I’d like to thank you very sincerely for over a decade of service to Cielo. And I do hope you’ll stay with us for another 10, because our people make Cielo a great place to work. Having said that, your comments are troubling. I take them personally, in the best sense of that word, as do our other leaders. I’d urge you to connect with me or another Cielo senior executive to share your thoughts personally and ask the many questions I know you must have.
As a team member with a management role in our organization, it’s distressing to me that you don’t recommend, have a negative outlook for and disapprove of our leadership. Please help us continue to improve and grow, as I want every one of us to be proud of the organization we bring our talents to every day. I say that knowing fully that we are not and probably never will be perfect. But what I do know is that we will always be listening, we will always be learning and we will always be improving, because we truly want to create an organization where people can do the best work of their careers and love doing it.
I’m very proud of the people of Cielo and all they’ve accomplished in just over a decade. And that pride includes you! Cielo has a very distinct culture, though, and it’s not a place for everyone. Our ethos is “Ever Forward” and our EVP, employer value proposition, is “Own Your Success." As we continue to grow and the business needs to scale to meet new competitive, customer and market demands, we have to change to adapt to our place in a shifting landscape. And while most of the time that means we have many opportunities for our team members to learn and grow, sometimes that means that we have to shake hands or hug and say good-bye and good luck to one of our own.
I hope you’ll stop by my office or contact me any time at sue.marks@cielotalent.com , or talk with one of our other senior executives. Thank you again for your constructive criticism and feedback.
