      Pros

      I mostly enjoyed working with the people I spent time with. Great subject matter to do research on. Great pay for remote work.

      Cons

      Very siloed environment. Team was scattered across the country. What took us a week to do could likely have been done in a single day in the office. PMs often did not listen to us or other stakeholders. Management did not update us on the status and impact of research when it was handed off. HR in my last year was terrible.

      Pros

      Bayer sounds great - "health for all, hunger for none". and "dynamic shared ownership". There are some truly amazing people working at Bayer.

      Cons

      But it's "health for all, hunger for none" and "dynamic shared ownership" are bogus. So many people who embraced DSO were let go for voicing their opinions. The toxic leaders made the decisions, and the organization was not truly ready for Bill Anderson's call to action. It's profits first, not people. I believed - but it saddens me to write that I was wrong.
