Pros

They will work with your schedule if you go to school and they will understand if you take public transportation

Cons

Allied Universal management has to many favoritism’s with in the office. They won’t give outstanding guard who has not never been late, called off and also never had complaints from clients. They will keep Guards that are lazy and do drugs in the work place. They won’t pay some guard correct and guard will miss hours on their check. Lot of the location they send guard to work pay very little and dangerous areas without proper safety equipment. Management lacks on communication with guards. Sometimes they will send Guards without getting trained properly at on site locations. Lot of guard who have work with Allied Barton before the merger they haven’t gotten the new company policy or the employee handbook.

Pros

Once you've networked with the right people it becomes all success and excellence. Through my years of experience with Allied Universal, I was fortunate enough to work with the right accommodations and site placements. I even had a chance to demonstrate supervisor status that I never did before in private security. I think Allied Universal gives chances to anyone eager enough to try gainful employment with opportunities to prove it. One quality pro factor that Allied Universal offers is through your journey of work placements at client sites, one client site will eventually become your primary site by choice to stay permanently as a career.

Cons

Career growth is slow because Allied Universal is humongous as both a company and private corporation. Opportunities don't exist often after getting your Guard Card but if you take the opportunities as an opportunistic, you'll do fine and reach the next stages in bottom management.
