Continuous Work and Questionable Practices
Pros
Good benefits, decent pay, LGBTQ friendly but only on night-shift, hires new-grads relatively frequently.
Cons
Dexcom, as of this moment, is a bit of a mess of a company. Each department is an island where there is very little communication between each other. The quality department provides roles where you essentially have to be the bridge between all departments, and it is extremely frustrating to do so. Expect to be blamed for things that are not your fault. Work from home was advertised but was revoked the moment I joined the role. It is being phased out site-wide, a decision that led several co-workers to leave immediately. If you are a new grad, I would suggest working in the microbiology, document control, or process/manufacturing departments. These will provide the most experience over time. Quality provides too much stress despite the experience you'll gain from it. Expect to work LOTS of overtime.
