COMPANY WAS GREAT WHEN FIRST HIRED - GOING DOWNHILL NOW
Pros
When I worked there they had really good health benefits and other perks for the employees, the employees had a positive and healthy morale and the company was stable and successful with solid leadership.
Cons
After about 3 years there, the layoffs started slowly. In the end, more than 400 people were cut and whole departments were eliminated, putting a huge strain on many of the employees who now had to take on a great deal of additional work once done by full-time employees. They were constantly changing their online systems so right when you had something down pat, they would change it again which drove people crazy. Many employee perks just stopped with no explanation. Health benefits were still good when I left, but with all the layoffs, I am sure they have revamped the benefits as well and people are paying much more for reduced coverage. They changed leadership at the top, then the company moved and this was when everything literally went to hell fast. Management was constantly telling you that you have to "do more" and I was practically living there as it was. NO WORK / LIFE BALANCE AT ALL!! Work load expectations were completely unrealistic and the stress level was through the roof for all. Though I was of course disappointed to be laid off since I am self supporting, part of me was also very relieved. The new commute was awful and I was very happy not to have to deal with several arrogant people on our team anymore.
