Pros

Before Al White and Holly Sheffield took over in May of 2018, TCC was a fantastic company to work for. You felt proud to be a part of a great company, especially with Bob at the helm. Today - ABSOLUTELY NO PROS!

Cons

Al and Holly are unethical, sneaky, selfish and downright snakes. They have taken nearly everything good away from TCC employees and most of it they've done without telling us employees. All they care about is their own paychecks and benefits, and the "bottom line" - all at the expense of the hardworking, day-to-day employees. They care NOTHING about employees and could care less if every single person were to quit. We are all expendable to them and all they care about are their own paychecks and bonuses. BOTTOM LINE: Do NOT take a job with TCC as long as Al and Holly are running the show. You will be unhappy, mistreated and be working for leaders that are deceiftul, have no morals and are dishonest. NO ONE is safe - they have fired long-standing employees at the drop of a hat and laughed about it on their way out. STAY AWAY unless you are shady, dishonorable and don't care about people.

Pros

Watercolor branding and free lunch in the main office

Cons

Where do I begin? I remember in my interviewing that I came across the Glassdoor reviews and mentioned them in my interview. My would be manager at the time, also new, said they were reflective of the company culture. However, I found this not the case a few months into the role. I really had high hopes for this company but they don’t really care about their employees. The senior leadership team does the bare minimum to appease investors and to look like they’re a good corporate citizen but are really not being an impactful leader. I ultimately ended up leaving because I didn’t feel the organization aligned w/ my values of what I want in a company.

Pros

Pay was good and they offer free lunch.

Cons

* Senior management is Al's Merry Men with some women in to check boxes. They don't even hide their lack of time for anyone below them. * CEO gets his admins to walk down the hall to pick up his lunch because he'd rather not mingle with the minions. * CEO told All Hands that people in the office are better positioned for promotion because visibility is everything. * IT'S ALL ABOUT the shareholders - people at the production plants are treated like third-class employees * Lack of basic business ethics is appalling. * Software and hardware (you know, the tools you need to do your job) don't work most of the time. * The entire communications team left and they didn't replace any of them, so we all did our own communications. * Our Human Resources team was compromised by leaders. * Senior managers and directors are rewarded for bad behavior with promotions. * 80% of directors are walking cliches but often think they are Ted-talk worthy material. * Propaganda about One Cooper culture is exactly that - propaganda - yet Al's Merry Men continued to push it. * Office atmosphere is awful - I wonder why? * Lonnnggggggg hours.
