Pros

Great place to get your foot in the door.

Cons

I worked at Cielo for just over 2 years. At first it was so great, but then you realize it's all about who you know there. There are empty promises of room for growth. I didn't feel appreciated and was very much overworked. I worked on a high volume team and it was a constant push to overwork yourself. At the time I didn't mind my job however now that I work at a different company I realize there is so much better out there.

Hi, this is Tara Cassady, SVP of Client Services. I’m happy you found Cielo to be a great place to start your career. It’s also a great place to grow one, and I’m disappointed that you did not see your career development potential here. We do have high expectations for ourselves, but the role we play in helping people find careers they love inspires us to work hard. Pros

- It is an okay place for a no-skills individual to attain some skills to bring to a better company somewhere else - Executives and managers are truly gifted in lip-service

Cons

- CEO, Executive Management out of touch - Mid-level managers (CSMs, CSDs, & SVPs) are mostly incompetent, out of touch, tyrannical, egotists. -Pay is horrendous -Benefits - 401k & medical - are terrible - One career path that leads to a dead end (Recruit U) - Pay is FAR BELOW THE INDUSTRY AVERAGE regardless of the lip service that will be posted here attesting to the regularity of making sure "pay is comparable to the industry and area" - just a total lie. -Skilled professionals are forced to work with ISs and RSs with no ability, undermining the process and compromising client satisfaction - Lost largest account in the history of the RPO industry, (33% of Cielo revenue) due to management hubris - leading to the displacement of 500 employees are putting on hold movement of the other 1300 odd employees. - Culture of deception. While acting like they are transparent, collaborative, and care about work/life balance, none of that is the case. In terms of culture they are the Enron of RPO. - Depending on team, there is no work-life balance. Before I left I was expected to work 60 hours per week to fill 110+ openings that were dumped in my lap. No attempt by CSM (SH) to get more help for my team, instead she worked 7 hour days and didn't care that her recruiterss were miserable and working 14+ hours -Positive reviews you see here are likely cooked up by our internal talent team. The employees are on the verge of mutiny in every team and department. Every response from Cielo on here is the same typical bologna they've been serving for years.

Wow. Ouch. While your comments are hard to read, I want to thank you for sharing them. I’m really sorry you didn’t have a positive experience at Cielo. What I regret even more is that you didn’t feel you had a safe forum to communicate your feelings and be heard while you were still at our company. I do read these posts (as do our global and regional leadership teams) and take the commentary to heart – both the positive and negative. I hear you loud and clear and understand that you were dissatisfied with – well, just about everything about our company. Please know the concerns you have expressed have been heard, and we’re taking action to better equip our employees with the proper communication channels for voicing concerns or frustrations. In 2018, we’ll engage in a systematic program to engage in more intensive employee listening, engagement and action planning sessions, as well as an even more comprehensive management training curriculum. Beyond Glassdoor, we offer many forums to collect and hear employee feedback. These range from formal corporate surveys to informal lunch and learns to team huddles to 1:1s. Most importantly, my door is always open. I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you, hear your pain points, and address specific examples personally. Feel free to contact me at sue.marks@cielotalent.com to schedule some time to chat. Sue Marks, CEO, Cielo

Pros

I no longer work there

Cons

Said that I didn't have potential to be a recruiter. I now have a senior management position at Johnson controls. That dump wouldn't know talent if it jumped up and bit them in the rear end
