Pros

Loyal, competent, and dedicated teachers. Curriculum encourages and teaches independence, self-reliance, and public speaking. Benefits? Your first child's tuition is covered. (But you still have to order uniforms through Challenger's suggested supplier, which of course, is owned by a relative of the owner. )

Cons

Corporate management. Mid-managers (headmasters and directors) have little or no loyalty for teachers and/or their hands are tied because they're in fear of speaking up about grievances and losing their jobs. Challenger has a take-it-or-leave-it approach to employment and customers. It's appalling to see a company where management is so indifferent to their customers' needs and cannot offer any flexibility or empathy. Politics has firmly advanced into the classroom and teacher training. It's so blatant and perverse that teachers now shake their heads and accept it as normal company practices. The real victims here are the children, whose lives are interrupted when families debate whether to re-enroll or look elsewhere.

Pros

being around and teaching great kids

Cons

This company is deceiving, it deceived me at first too with its strong beliefs and patriotism, but it turned out to be a very anit-military, anti-government, and prejudice company. They are brainwashing children into a very creepy sense of idealism. In order to save $ they have the teachers do a lot of the cleaning. The teachers are treated poorly and talked down to. They take advantage of employees and over work them to save $. The majority of the teachers are all untrained and very few of them have college degrees; they do this in order to pay them as little as possible. There is very little training for any of the staff it is all a façade.
