      Pros

      Currently undergoing strategic change, there would some shakeoff may be good for long term. Average market pay

      Cons

      Too focus on short term financial results, whenever does not meet P/L 1st response would cut labor cost. Annual exercise to trim down manpower cost specially on Q3 to Q4 result in fear among employees. The question in employee mind is, who is the next one to be remove. Management fail to cultivate creative and inclusive culture other than focus on R&D and sales. Even increasing workload without manpower support.

      Pros

      The work/life balance and career advancement opportunities are the best aspects of this company.

      Cons

      The company is more concerned with cutting costs than actually innovating. While cost is important, it always seem to come at the expense of not investing in new technologies. This drives many of the more talented employees out the door.

      The pay is at least competitive.

      Cons

      Shame on Carrier's name. Mid and upper management are old fashioned and have poor leadership skills. Does not know how to develop or use talent. Low morale. Not proactive. Configuration management systems are obsolete or non existing. Failure to address customer's concern in timely manner. Poor communication between engineering and manufacturing. Not replacing retired employees so others have to do more with less. Top level management only care about profit. Questionable engineering practice.
