Pros

As an opening point for the pros of working at CarShop Nottingham is the fact that progression is a major part of anyone’s career. CarShop do like to Progress people internally and put a lot on offer to those who work hard and deserve it. There is also a great community of colleagues who work there from the sales staff to service staff. There is plenty of support from everyone and it’s always a welcoming place. A very big ‘doors always open’ kind of place. As well as making sure people are appreciated and acknowledged there is always room for improvement and carshop always strive to make you at your best and give out advice and guidance.

Cons

For me personally I think one of the biggest cons is the work life balance, it seems to be a problem when working overtime and trying to get time back. Although when you stay late for dealing with customers you get paid on the commission but still a very hard inconvenience on trying to claim back time. Sometimes I feel like there is a lack of communication between different teams but that is to be expected at a company of this size and with how busy it can get. One con is when you deal with a customer and it’s for a vehicle at another site or the customer comes in on a rota day off which means if you don’t come in for the appointment then you lose out on the deal and I think you shouldn’t have to come in on your day off especially when it’s hard and almost made to feel guilty about taking the time back.

Been here a long time and we work on holding our core values from our CarSense days. Great Company and hire great people.

Cons

Market is tough right now, but we are navigating as best as we can.
